Globally, more than 1.3 million people die on roads every year. Vision Zero is the idea that we can reduce that number of deaths to zero.

A VZYN Ambassador is a high school student who is passionate about road safety and wants to help create safer roads.
We are looking for student leaders.
Our ambassadors help spread safety in two main ways:
Don’t worry, we will work with you to make sure you are able to balance this program with school work, and extracurricular activities.
This program is designed to be remote. We meet once a month virtually on Zoom.
However, we do have in-person elements. Those happen in your school! You will perform your Safety Segments at your school.
A Safety Segment is a predesigned 10 minute segment that goes over a road safety topic. It is meant to be presented at school assemblies. You will receive all the materials, training and prizes you’ll need!
The program runs from September - May with a few days of training in August.
Our program is built to give students all 40 of their Community Service Hours. We break it down to about 4 hours a month, including a one hour mandatory meeting. How you fit the other hours into your schedule is up to you.
Teens Learn to Drive is a Canadian non-profit organization focused on reducing death and serious injury on the roads.
