OUR TL2D TEAM IN 2023
French Translator
I am a recent U of T graduate with a degree in Drama and English. I also hold an acting diploma from Dawson College in Montréal, QC, where I grew up. On top of being an emerging actor, I also have a passion for words and have started working as a freelance translator, and I am excited to join the TL2D team this summer as the French Translator!
Outreach Coordinator
I am working towards completing the Concurrent Education program at Brock University, earning a BA majoring in Child and Youth studies and a Bachelor of Education. At TL2D I work closely with high schools and school boards across Ontario, assisting with our VZYN program recruitment. Furthermore, I outreach to notable individuals across the GTA and create content for our social media platforms.
Graphic & Motion Designer
I am a graduate of University of Toronto Mississauga through the Communication, Culture, and Information Technology program. Additionally, my program has a joint curriculum with Sheridan
College where I worked primarily in graphic design. At TL2D, I am responsible for creating graphics used in our videos, social media, website, and more.
Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator
I am currently enrolled in the Business Administration program at Wilfrid Laurier University. At TL2D, I work on various social media platforms including Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and more. This position allows me to share knowledge on safe driving and encourage young drivers to drive responsibly. I hope to build safe and fun spaces for drivers to learn!
Animator
I am an animator and recent graduate from OCAD University’s Experimental Animation program. I will be animating for TL2D’s new video game, and also work on things I am passionate about like character design. My goals are to work on animations and illustrations that engage people in a fun and informative way. My long term goals are to continue a career of creating visuals and stories that are both visually compelling and resonate with the audience.
Videographer
I am a recent graduate from York University’s Film Production Program. For TL2D, I film video footage to help create informational videos about safe driving. I like to edit, write, and direct films using different applications and software.
Audio editor
I am a 20-year-old Toronto native who has worked with sound in all manner of forms since I first caught the bug at 13. In the fall, I will be studying sound design at Concordia in Montreal. My interests are always shifting, but in recent years I have found myself gravitating towards collaborative work where I get to help realize someone else’s creative vision. My work ranges from the creative to the technical, and I hope to contribute both to this project.
Video Editor
I am a current student at Toronto Metropolitan University studying International Economics & Finance. When I’m not crunching numbers, I channel my creative energy into freelance video editing gigs for various clients, including content creators and businesses. I’m also part of the awesome team at TL2D, where I get to put my skills to use as a video editor. My main goal? To take any content I lay my hands on and elevate it to new heights of excellence!
Events Planner/Researcher
I am an incoming freshman at University of Toronto, studying Engineering Science, as I am very passionate about project management and building new software. I work as an events planner and researcher at TL2D, researching facts and statistics about safe driving practices and planning events for youth in the GTA. I also love to volunteer in the community, and make this world a safer and healthier place to live overall.
Game Developer
I am a game developer who inspires to create games with memorable characters. I have experience with Unity3D, Unreal Engine, and RPG maker. I am interested in cutting edge gaming technologies as well as project management methods for game projects.
Content Creator
I am a current student in the Community Music program at Wilfrid Laurier University. I enjoy the performing arts and spend lots of time listening, producing, and recording music. Some of my other passions include soccer, volleyball, basketball, programming, and video games. At TL2D I aim to gain some valuable experiences related to content creation that I can implement into my own work as an aspiring music artist.
Web Developer
As an ambitious Computer Science student at York University, I am immersed in the world of web development, crafting intricate code and interactive features. My goal is to utilize these skills to create my own suite of income-generating websites, with the aim of turning them into a full-scale business. Contributing to the development of this very website has provided me with valuable experience and further fuels my aspiration to successfully launch my own web-based enterprise.

Ad Analyst and Video Editor
I am a recent graduate from Wilfred Laurier University, where I studied Film Business Management and Political Science. This year I also graduated from Vancouver Film School in the film production stream, where I specialized in producing and production design. In addition, my social media and design experiences comes from my previous summer working at TL2D and my classes, where I designed and produced short films.
Actor | Social Media Collaborator
I am an actor/social media collaborator at TL2D. My job entails; making video, content for TikTok, Instagram and PSA films for TL2D. I have also collaborated with well-known brands such as Tim Hortons (roll up to win), Kellogg’s, and Grace foods. My background is in Business Administrative Marketing from Fanshawe College. I hope with this opportunity, I can educate more of our youth on safe driving and make it as fun as possible.
Social Media Coordinator & UX Designer
I generate marketing assets for TL2D’s social media platforms and advertise the Vision Youth Network Program. My goal is to create engaging videos that influence young drivers’ decisions and attitudes towards driving safety. Moreover, while representing TL2D’s values, I am working towards completing a Global Business and Digital Arts degree at the University of Waterloo.

Sound Editor
I am currently finishing my degree at Concordia University in Montreal majoring in Communication Studies with a specialization in Sound Production. To add on, I love all things sound related, including music, DJ’ing, podcasts, & radio! At TL2D, I produce and edit our podcast, Before You Hand Over The Keys. Additionally, I’m looking forward to booking more interesting guests and putting together more fun, informative, and engaging episodes this summer!
Writer
I am a writer at Teens Learn to Drive (TL2D), responsible for writing and distributing articles, press releases, newsletters and more. To add on, outside of TL2D, I am working toward a Bachelor of Creative and Professional Writing at Humber College.
Videographer
At TL2D, I work as a videographer with the team to brainstorm and produce engaging content on road safety. In addition, working at TL2D is a great experience as it challenges me to improve my existing skills while also giving me the opportunity to learn from other departments within the company. Moreover, I am a recent graduate from York University’s BFA Honours Film Production program. As an emerging South Asian filmmaker, I strive to bring more BIPOC stories to screen. In my free time, you can find me ranting about romance novels or belting out Bollywood songs.
Event Planner
I am a graduate of the University of Toronto – Mississauga. I majored in Communication, Culture, Information, and Technology. TL2D has given me an opportunity to work as a Graphic Designer. At TL2D, my job is to create graphics and assets for the team to use in various outlets. More importantly, this opportunity has allowed me to further develop my current skills as well as learn new techniques and strategies.
Animator
I am an animation student at Seneca College with a fine arts background from uWaterloo. To add on, visual arts and nuanced storytelling is my passion. Moreover, I am currently working on the animation and designs for TL2D’s first game!
Game Designer
I am an aspiring game designer currently studying Game Design at Sheridan College. Furthermore, at TL2D, I am responsible for developing a 2D pixel game that take players on a narrative experience through decision making. I‘m passionate about all things game design and looking into any opportunities to broaden my horizon.
Web Designer
I am a web designer currently studying at the University of Toronto. More importantly, at TL2D, I work with the team to improve the website’s changes, and make sure the website’s software is maintained on various platforms.

Graphic Designer & Animator
I am an aspiring Graphic Designer living in Toronto and graduated from the graphic design program at Seneca College in 2019. Furthermore, I am currently broadening my skills to specialize in Animation and UI/UX design.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, with a degree in Journalism. At TL2D, I perform the ole of a reporter through interviews, written material, and social media content. TL2D is a great opportunity for me because it allows me to get experience in my field in multiple ways such as interviewing, writing, editing, and content creation.

I am a recent University of Toronto Mississauga graduate with a degree in Communications and Professional Writing. Equally important, my social media marketing experience includes University of Toronto Mississauga’s Communications Council.

Graphic Designer & Content Creator
I am a current Student at Wilfred Laurier University studying Film Studies. Business Management and Political Science. Likewise, my Graphic Design experience was procured at the half term I completed at Vancouver Film School. I plan on returning in the winter to complete the other half. I work at TL2D as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Creator. Furthermore, my main tasks include creating graphics for social media as well as creating other social media content where I can. I also help analyze social media data to help figure out which content is working when I can!

I am a filmmaker with a demonstrated history of creating videos for Youtube, and an aspiring director/screenwriter for feature length films. Likewise, my skills are in content creation, editing and entrepreneurial ventures. As a strong marketing professional, I am on path to achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies (Laurier University) and a diploma specializing in Film Production (Vancouver Film School).
I am a 2nd year computer science student at Queen’s University and I am currently pursuing a career in UI/UX design and front-end development. Additionally, I am interested in programming, graphic design, and media production/content creation.
I am an upper year global business and digital arts student at the University of Waterloo. In like manner, I am currently dipping my feet into all things design. Lastly, my passions include outer space, dogs, and basketball.
I am currently completing a film and media production bachelor at Humber College. Furthermore, I’m working on becoming an assistant director for indie movie productions to work my way up to the director’s chair! In conclusion, my interests include directing, editing, sound, and dogs!

I have been working in the driving industry for 7 years and am passionate about road safety and creating change. To add on, my hobbies include skiing, travelling, writing, and spending time at my cottage.

The Teens Learn to Drive team joined the Executive Team at 407ETR to launch our #LikeYouCare PSA and campaign at their headquarters.
Teens Learn to Drive President, Anne Marie Hayes introduced two videos: our ‘Why We Care’ video which provides background as to why the campaign was developed. 407ETR President Andres Sacristan spoke about our partnership & how it complements their commitment to safety. He also launched their summer safety contest.
The event was a huge success and was followed by a photo session with Andres in front of our 407ETR-sponsored trailer. Have a look at our pictures and videos, and remember to watch and share our PSA!

Neighbours Night Out is an annual neighbourhood barbeque get together hosted by Safe City Mississauga where passionate road safety advocates have tents to promote their campaign, make people aware of their message, and provide awesome giveaways. They also provide free food to everyone, cotton candy, and bouncy castles for kids to play on. Teens Learn to Drive participated in Neighbours Night Out for the 3rd year, handing out color sheets, bookmarks, and informing people about our campaign and events.
