For the first time ever, TL2D is bringing a new volunteer experience to youth across Ontario. High school students can now apply to be a Vision Zero Youth Network Ambassador.
Interested? As an ambassador, you’ll promote safe driving in your community, gain 40 community service hours, receive a $500 scholarship and get a free trip to the conference in Toronto in August.
If you’re worried you don’t have the experience for it, don’t worry, we aren’t looking for any. We created this program as an opportunity for teens to gain experience. We are looking for high school students who share the excitement of keeping the roads safe and want the chance to gain some real-life work experience. With this opportunity, you’ll also be able to create a portfolio filled with different graphic designs and videos. This portfolio can be used for post-secondary applications as well as for future jobs.
We plan to teach ambassadors everything they need to know in order to create these portfolio pieces. It begins at the expense-paid trip to the conference in Toronto where you’ll get 4 days of fun activities and training. Plus you’ll meet the TL2D team and other Ambassadors from all over Ontario!
Throughout the year, you’ll work with your team to help promote road safety. This is your chance to learn from mentors in the creative field and build your network.
How can you become an Ambassador? It’s easy! Fill out the application on our website and we will be in touch with you shortly.
Deadline closed? Our Ambassador program runs yearly. Stay tuned until applications open again next year, or connect with us to get a head start on the program
